God loves you and he has created you in His own image.
You are the crown of his work in the creation and he wants nothing else
but the best for you. He knows about your situation and wants to help
you with your life. God wants to be your best friend. But he has also
given you the free will.
..., for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Rom 3:23)
We humans sometimes do, thinks and says things that are negative. We hurt ourselves
and others, are egoistic and selfish. Sin lives in all people and this seperates
us to have fellowship with God. God is holy and in his presence can not darkness
exist which makes a gap between us and God. But God has not given up on us.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Gods complete love and longing for us resulted in a rescue plan. God sent his
son, Jesus Christ, to earth to take our sin upon himself by dying on a cross.
The gap that had come up between us and God was now removed and the fellowship
to God was restored. We become free from sin and saved to an eternal life only
when we belive in Jesus.
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus
is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(Rom 10:9)
The meaning is not that you should fight and walk through life alone. We people
are created to a life in fellowship with God. If you would like to say yes to
Jesus you could do that by this simple prayer.
Thank you, Jesus, for dying upon the cross for me.
I now want to belive in you and with my mouth confess that you are the lord.
I welcome you to move in to my heart.
Help me follow you.
Thank you, Jesus, that I now belong to you.
Amen.
